Earlier this year, the biobank at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) was the first Norwegian biobank to achieve ISO 20387-accreditaion. In May, the NIPH biobank became the first Norwegian biobank to obtain the BBMRI-ERIC quality label according to the ISO 20387 standard. The quality label is visible in the BBMRI-ERIC directory and during the Europe Biobank Week in Bologna, the NIPH biobank was awarded with the certificate and glass trophy.
